The exterior detail has many steps involved in it. These steps include washing the rims and wheels, rinsing the vehicle, foaming the vehicle, contact washing, rinsing the soap off, drying, and then applying tire shine. By using this process and high-quality products, I can get your vehicle to a showroom-like shine. The price is $30 for Cars and $40 for SUVs and Trucks. Prices can change at your appointment time depending on the condition.
Washing the rims and wheels is just how it sounds. I use a pressure washer to knock off any dirt and debris that is loose to make hand washing easier and take less time. Then, after I do that, I spray some soap on the tire and rims to be able to agitate and scrub the wheel to clean them. After I have done this to all of the wheels, I rinse them all off and move to the next step.
Rinsing the vehicle is a lot less hard and has fewer steps. It is just as it sounds in the title. I rinse the vehicle using a pressure washer to get all of the loose dirt and debris off of the car so that when I am completing the contact wash, I don't scratch or mar the paint. I will rinse the vehicle from top to bottom to let gravity help me get the loose dirt off and keep it off.
In my wash process, I use a foam cannon. It does not shoot out cannonballs, but it does spray lots of foamy soap on the car. This lubrication helps me not scratch or mar the paint and also allows me to clean it. I leave this soap on the car for the next step.
The contact wash is when I use a wash mitt and start to fully clean the car. Using the soap from the foam cannon, I scrub the car from bumper to bumper and top to bottom to get it very clean. Another name for the contact wash would be a hand wash. Once I am done washing the car with soap, I use the pressure washer to spray the car and get the soap off of the vehicle. This helps make sure that no water spots from the soap get on the paint.
I dry it using a plush water absorbent towel that gets all the water left from the rinse off of the vehicle. I also sometimes use a blower to blow all of the water out from the cracks and crevices.
The tire shine application is done last because you do not want to scrub the shine of it off of the wheels or even try to dry the wheels with it on. The tire shine is what makes your car have that showroom shine and is like the icing on the cake. This will make your tires look brand new and give them a dark and rich look.
